Kunji And Kunjanna

Kunjanna dats what we call our little girl now,,, named after her big brother Kunji..They both get along pretty well..She learned to call "chetta" (brother) first. she says acha anna annanna ..and few other words tata and pappam...She is 10 months old today..She stands holding on to things now ,She hasnt got any teeth yet though . She smiles beautifully and loves bathing. We dont give her any packed foods or any ready made baby foods ,I have my own yummy baby recipe for her,

Kunji is doing good in school..he is participating in few cca activities, His  English elocution on Cleanliness is next to godliness got lots of applauds:)

He is also a part of the school music team who will be performing for the closing ceremony of  their schools' national level games competition ,He is pretty excited about that.

He will be starting his music lessons in November.

Kunji's new class

Kunji has come out with exemplary results in his 2nd grade and has been promoted to the 3rd grade. His classes will commence from 1st of April. From this year onwards, he will be having exams. So he presumes he has grown up. He used to always carp about not having computer in his curriculum ..now that will be solved from now on.

Kunji hosts a quiz programme daily within our family group in watsapp. He asks 2 questions ..all my relatives make it a point to participate in  the program.he is doing a pretty good job. 

Kunji and kunjipennu are getting along well. He has started to hold her in his arms. And she loves it when he make some gestures to her.

My babies

kunji is learning karate and abacus.. he has karate on Friday and sunday..he likes karate but hate to go out from his comfort zone...our house. Abacus class is scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. His vacation has started now..
He's really attached to me and is a bit sad because of the newcomer  ...although he loves his kunjipennu..
He calls her dunni kutty..from the time I was pregnant. His music teacher told him that he has the talent to sing and he should learn it somewhere...and he want to learn to draw too...but he doesn't want to spend anymore time away from home..he suggested an idea...he want me me to teach him :-)

Dunni kutty is getting used to the daily routines now.. she has started to sleep for long hours..wakes up very little at night. She recognises me, smiles to everybody..she will talk in her language to us when we interact with her..we always keep our radio on while we are in our kitchen...she talk back and smiles to the radio...she believes they are talking or singing to her....

She used to cry when she was given bath...but last week she had fever and was not put to bath for 2 days...after that she doesn't cry....

Introducing Niveditha...

It's been long 6 years..my kunji is now seven years old... Time is flying..kunji has a little sister now.
She's 77 days old. We named her Niveditha Sajiv..I was just looking at his pictures and was reminded about the blog...I was going through my posts and really regret for not keeping it posted. Any ways what's not done is not done..will make an effort now..
Kunji is in his second grade now.. he is  a wonderful kid who really knows to cope with situations.. I am really happy about it... his hobbies include cycling, drawing, making clay (he only knows what he mean by that) . He is the class monitor. Loves to play stone paper scissors.... and a game they call peekachoo..loves watching cartoons (doremon, pokemon, oogy, shinchan).. but achan has kept restrictions for watching TV . About studies..hasnt got much to learn..but I make sure he sits for one hour with his studies ( only me and god knows how I make him sit) . ...

iam one year and eight months old....

hey i thought i'll keep posting kunjoos's progress daily....but he keeps me too busy:))

He is very busy now a days...he is through his process of learning new new things daily...there is soo much still to learn...his favourite hobby now is to immitate us....you say a word and he starts repeating them...

His no: of teeth is now 9 now...hehe more and more tools....

His favourite vehicle is "otocha" ..(autorickshaw) that too "rendu otocha" (two autorickshaws) ....its really beautiful the way he says that word....and the moment an autorickshaw passes through the road outside our balcony ....he wants us to carry him there.....he never wants to miss the sight of one!!! he has two toy autorickshaws too...

His favourite place now is "Moneenu" (mukalil...that is on our terrace) ...before he goes to sleep he says amme moneenu....i'll promise him that we will go tomorrow....the next day morning he wakes up saying "amme moneenu"....he repeats this to my mother till they both go and play there in the evening....and he has his cheese there!!!

he loves the number rendu (two).....every thing is rendu........

And now he understands to whom a thing belongs....when i ask him whos car it is pointing to our car ...he says kunjinde .....and when i ask him to whom my brother in laws bike belongs to he says "kochachende"....

he is having fever now....and has gone to sleep a bit early...got to go and check him....

MY BABY IS ONE AND HALF YEARS OLD NOW

HEY! its been almost 7 months now after i last posted....its just that i was busy with my new job...took a bit of time to settle...not really settle here....iam planning for a transfer....so i cant really say settled!!! anyways this is no place to discuss my problems...its a place all meant for my chweet kunjoos..

Kunjooos is not really kunju now...he has grown up a bit...hmm lemme give you a brief about his past 7 months..when i last posted ..he was just was just beginning to walk ...now he walks, runs and even try to jump up and reach things!!! that a real funny seen..(he learned it from his cousin...achuchetta...) he looks high up on things and try to jump....but his heels never rise from the floor..he has six teeth now...four on top and two at the bottom...his favorite hobby is to bite his ammomma....poor amma..yesterday i found few blood spots on her cheeks..(that was supposed to be kiss from him)...
kunjoos now speaks most of the words....(he just don't use the connectors).... that's it...and sings songs too....tinka tinka ltkjfdj("twinkle twinkle little star"), Johy johy ssssss(Johny Johny yes papa), Kake kake koodevide koohinahjkkkk, thumbi thumbi vava(he pronounces this one correctly)

his favourite pass time is adadu( his swing)...he spends most of his time in that...watching his favourite cd..poopy. i remember last day i rewinded and played that song almost 30 times...its still his favourite....

11 month old baby

Kunjoos is in his 11th month now...cant believe its gonna be a year after his birth...oh god !!! time is running like anything...he has 2 teeth now  and two of them are budding on the bottom layer...he likes to chew everything now....hates to be fed on the lap..he likes to take the food all by himself....

I have learned that this is the time when you should be very careful with your little ones..my baby picks up anything that he finds on the floor and take it directly to his mouth....papers, slippers are his favorite things...I have locked up all the shoes in a cupboard now....

his says acha , amma,annana,tata( and waves his hands too) , goodnight, umma, meow,bow bow,kaka(crow),and goes on talking continuous sentences which is an alien language to us....he responds to whatever we say or ask him in a sentence..

when we ask him where his hands are ..he raises his hands ...he has started to learn:)

he loves to walk now...rarely sits:)) whenever he finds a new thing he examines it and plays with it for hours...yesterday he got one cardboard box(a carton) with which he played for almost 2 hours...

for the past two days he has not eaten a thing:( i have tried giving him all sorts of food items and he takes a bit of it and that's it....I had discussed this with his doctor and he says babies at this age never starves themselves ...u give food as usual if they need it they will take it.
